Here's my question:

Once the 4th of July hits, summer is about half over. What are some summer activities you hope to squeeze in before it's time for "back to school"?

Remember, you have until Sunday night to comment and I'll choose a winner and the kit will be shipped out around the 14th.

Enjoy your weekend! :)

  1. a few big things actually:
    1. new windows installed on the house
    2. new deck
    3. scrap my March Italy trip!
    4. and maybe train my dog more obedience...

  2. Vacation and more trips to the pool.

  3. It's hard for me since I work and my kids are grown, but I would squeeze in some rest and relaxation!

  4. Our main goal this summer was to get our almost two year old little boy to the zoo since he's never been...I know, it doesn't sound too hard but with two older girls heavy into activities and sports it's very hard to find a day that we all have free but we actually made it to the zoo last Friday and Carter LOVED it!!! Now we can just hang out and enjoy the rest of the summer cooking out and haning in the backyard!! :)

  5. Get the boat out! We're a little late this year, so we're hoping we'll make it mid-July to the condo =)

  6. Where to start? This summer is flying by and I want to get so much done!
    *Go camping (more)
    *Read a new author series
*JUST HAVE FUN with my kiddos!
    *Start exercising
    *Get a tan
*Try to be creative with my scrapping and jewelry hobbies

  7. Well, my kids are looooong gone :), so I'll try to remember what we did at this time of year. One fun activity each summer is the Football Hall of Fame Festival, which now stretches between 2 weekends and even more....2 parades, a ribs burnoff, balloon fest, drum corps show, and of course, the induction of the new members to the Hall of Fame. Lots of opportunities for family togetherness and fun!
Thanks for the chance to win this scrumptious kit!

  8. Hard to believe summer is half over, when it really just started here. We had such mild weather til really recently,, so it is just starting to feel like summer.
I work, and my daughter is grown, so summer vacation doesn't really mean as much to me. But I do hope to get over to Lake Tahoe for a couple of days of relaxation. The weather should be gorgeous for that!

  9. lots of swimming and scrapping

  10. I'd like to have a cookout with friends, take my son to the zoo one more time, and go pick fresh fruit/veggies at one of the nearby farms :)

  11. Mine go back to school on Wednesday, so we're trying to squeeze in a couple more trips to the pool.

  12. more pool time!!

  13. I hope to update my kiddos school scrapbooks, finish our 2008 Disney album and maybe even start and finish our vacation album from this summer, and I would like to loose an enourmous amount of weight too!

  14. I'm wanting to take my 7 year old on a "mini" vacation, right here in Iowa and by taking her to the IA Children's Museum in IA City, maybe the Amana Colonies, and to the Science Center of IA. She is very interested in science and museums and of course always very eager to learn! I like to teach her you don't have to do something extraordinary in order to be on vacation, but at the same time giving her something to "share" when she returns to school- in addition to keeping Iowa "alive."
